Media Strategy Session

Seeing your work published in print and having the opportunity to reach tens of thousands of highly motivated potential clients in one go is the top marketing goal for every architect and interior designer.

But getting published in print isn’t easy…

Here are some of the big decisions you’ll have to make:

  • Which photographer should I hire to shoot the project?
  • Which magazines should I approach with this project? And in what order?
  • Who should I contact about my project? A writer, editor, or someone else?
  • What information about the project should I provide when I contact magazines?
  • Do I need a media kit? How long should my project description be, and what should I write?
  • How should I reach out to editors? Where do I find their contact information? What should I say in my email, and what should I say?

Whether it’s your first built project, or your twentieth, the process can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to make mistakes than can cost you valuable publication opportunities.

Here’s how I can help: If you’re an Australian architect or interior designer with an upcoming or recently completed project, I can help you to make better media decisions and maximise your chances of getting published.

Publication, photographer and writer selection backed up by data.

Too many architects rely on guesswork and copying what peers are doing when trying to figure out how to get published. The end result is missed opportunities for your projects.

My process uses real-world data from 550+ recent print articles in 16 of Australia’s most influential architecture and interior design magazines including Houses, The Local Project, Habitus, Vogue and more.

By tracking what’s getting published in every architecture and interiors magazine in Australia, I can provide you with data-driven recommendations on the editors, photographers and writers you should approach to ensure you have the highest probability of getting your work featured in the print publications your ideal clients are reading.

Here’s how the process works and what you’ll get

  1. Complete a briefing form that will help me understand your goals, project timelines and your ideal target audience.
