AIA State And National Architecture Awards | architecture.com.au | Entries for the state chapters open in November and close in February or March (depending on the state). State chapter winners are typically announced in June and July, and national winners are announced in November. The standard entry fee is $700 or $630 for A+ members.

Australian Interior Design Awards | australianinteriordesignawards.com | Entries open in November and close February 24th. The first category entry costs $400, and $295 for subsequent entries. The shortlist is published on March 22nd, and winners announced on June 2nd and published in the June issue of Artichoke magazine.
Dulux Colour Awards | dulux.com.au | Entries open in November and close in February. Finalists are revealed on March 15th, and winners are announced on May 11th. This competition is free to enter, and you can enter as many categories as you’d like.
March
Houses Awards | housesawards.com.au | Entries open in November and close on March 17th. The shortlist is revealed on May 5th, and the winners and commendations are announced on July 28th and published in the August issue of Houses magazine. The first category entry fee is $425, with subsequent entries charged at $325 per category.
INDE.Awards | indeawards.com | Entries open in November and close on March 16th. The shortlist is announced on June 15th, and winners are presented on August 10th. The entry cost is $320 for your first entry and $220 for subsequent entries.
Think Brick Awards | thinkbrick.com.au | Entries open in January and close March 31st. Winners will be announced in August. Entry is free.
Awards for Excellence in Concrete | concreteinstitute.com.au | Entries open in September and close March. The entry cost is $660 per category and includes a ticket to the local State Awards Event.
April
Good Design Awards | good-design.org | Entries open in February and close in April. Winners are announced in September. The entry fee starts at $405 for early bird entries, then increases to $450 for standard entries. Winners are expected to pay for a winners package, which ranges in cost from $450 for sole-practitioners, $950 for 2-4 employees, $1950 for 5-19 employees, $2950 for 20-99 employees at $3950 for 100+ employee firms.

Inside Out Home Of The Year Awards | Entries open in March and close in June. Winners are announced in August and feature in the August issue of Inside Out magazine. This awards program is free to enter.
Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) | idea-awards.com.au | Entries open March 16th, and close June 23rd. The winners are announced in November and published in issue #118 of inside magazine. The entry cost starts at $260 for early birds, $350 for standard entries and $250 per subsequent entry.
Sustainability Awards | sustainablebuildingawards.com.au | Entries open in May and close at the end of June. The shortlist is revealed in September and winners are announced in November.

Eat Drink Design Awards | eat-drink-design.com | Entries open in April and close on July 15th. Awards and commendations are announced on the 11th of November and published in Artichoke magazine. The first category entry fee is $295, with subsequent category entries charged at $250 each.
Australian Timber Design Awards | timberdesignawards.com.au | Entries open in April and close at the end of July. Winners are announced in November Entry fees are $250 for a single project, $350 for two projects and $450 for 3 projects.

Belle Fanuli Interior Design Awards | Entries open in June and close on September 9th. This awards program is free to enter.
ArchiTeam Awards | architeam.com.au | Entries open in July and close in September. Winners are announced in November. This awards program is only open to ArchiTeam member practices.
October
Grand Designs Australia House Of The Year | Visit the website | Entries close October 6th 2023. Entry is free. Winners are announced April 2024.
Architizer A+Awards | February | architizerawards.com | Entries open in October and close on February 24th. The entry fee scales the later you submit. Winners are announced on May 30th.
World Architecture Festival | May | worldarchitecturefestival.com | Entries open in January and close on May 5th. Finalists are notified in July, and winners are announced in December. The entry fee is £875, with a discount if you enter before March 24th.
WAN Awards | June | wanawards.com | Entries open in February and close in June. Winners are announced in November.
Dezeen Awards | June | dezeen.com | Entries open February 15th and close on June 7th. The long list is revealed in September, shortlist in October and the final winners are announced online in November. The entry fees vary from £90 per category to £460 per category depending on your practice size and how soon you submit your entry.
Loop Design Awards | July | loopdesignawards.com | Entries open in January and close in July. Entry fees range from €80 to €200 depending on how soon you enter. Winners are announced in September-October.
Archiboo Awards | September | archibooawards.com | Entries open in June and close in September. The entry fee is £123.50 with discounts for entering earlier. The shortlist is announced in September and winners are announced in October.
